This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach 9th grade at a Title I school and I want to help my students with their literacy by creating the perfect classroom library!

A good classroom library can engage more students than you ever thought possible.

Learning to love reading is not something that comes naturally to teens nowadays. However, every day I have more and more students asking me for book recommendations. Being able to not only recommend books to my students, but also being able to supply them, is a HUGE goal for me as a beginning teacher. Please help me help my students!
