My Students

This year, I am working in an inclusion setting with 18 awesome students of varying abilities. They are hardworking kindergarteners that love story time and small group learning. I am hoping to be able to provide more than the daily YouTube read-alouds as I did virtually last year for my students by expanding my personal library.

My Project

In our classroom, we love to do read alouds, especially at the end of the day. It is a time when all students, get to hang out and enjoy books. Our kids love to read seasonal or holiday-themed books and they love being able to select books from our special "books of the month" library. I also have students who I would love to start reading chapter books with as well. As we move into the second half of a crazy school year, I believe that the requested books will help my students' love for reading grow.
