This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me give my students new classroom essentials to motivate them to learn using sticker incentives, calm down corner posters/strategies, flexible standing desk, laminating sheets to display their work, a new fun read aloud book and other necessary supplies to help us succeed in fourth grade. My students love when we do read aloud time especially if it’s a culturally diverse picture book. They are inspired by their creations and always look forward to see their awesome work displayed and laminated. My students would benefit from using the calming corner items to self regulate during class when they’re having a hard time. The posters will be helpful for my diverse student needs as they share tips for students to self regulate their emotions.
