Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The specific items I’m requesting (books, writing materials, and basic classroom supplies) will make a significant difference in my students’ learning by ensuring they have the tools they need to fully engage in daily instruction. Access to high-interest books will foster a love of reading and build literacy skills. Writing supplies will support their ability to express themselves and complete assignments with confidence. Other classroom essentials like folders, markers, and organizational tools will help create a structured, efficient learning environment where every student can stay focused and feel prepared. With these materials, my students can concentrate on learning rather than worrying about what they’re missing.

My goal for this project is to create an inclusive and resource-rich learning environment where every student has what they need to succeed.

I want to remove barriers caused by a lack of materials and ensure all students have access to high-quality books, essential supplies, and engaging learning tools.

My students are incredibly resilient, curious, and full of potential. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique perspectives, cultures, and languages into the classroom, which enriches our learning community every day. What makes them truly special is their determination, kindness, and the way they support one another like a family.
