Classroom Basics to Make My Classroom Not So Basic!

My Project

My project consists of various classroom basics that are required for a classroom to run smoothly. The headphones will allow students to stay better focused on their learning. The pen pal will help them always have a sharpened pencil ready and accessible.

I also need hands-on manipulatives that my students can use to help grow their math and reading skills.

The pop it number lines will come in handy during our math time, because students can pop the numbers as they go. The phonics cards can be used for many different games. I also would love to put Alphabots and number-bots into my STEM bins, so that students can build up their number and letter recognition. These materials help make learning fun and will lead to better academic outcomes for my students.

My students absolutely love using the turtle shells during indoor recess. They love to build different courses and challenge each other. I am wanting to add more options to our collection. With more shells, they are able to build better creations. They can also work on their social skills during building time.
