This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are my family! We come together daily and show each other love, respect, and care. What better way to show my babies that I love and care for them than to ensure they have what they need to fuel their bodies for learning? Teaching today is much more than preparing material, activities, and grading. Educators today must be ready to support students with basic needs, such as food and clothing, and most of all, LOVE! Many do not have the resources at home and need a snack to get through the day. Food insecurity is real.
