My Students

My students are eager!!! My classes are made up of a large and very diverse ethnic and socio-economic population. The one constant among my students is their love of using technology!!!

My students are 21st-century learners who love engaging with diverse historical content.

They can do this through Chromebooks to research historical events, watch and discuss videos, and create stimulating projects that speak to the minds of the 21st century!!

Their engagement level when using Chromebooks greatly increases their attention to detail and level of understanding versus using other educational materials.

My Project

I am requesting four Chromebooks for my students to be used for projects in history and to deepen their understanding of the content. I also want to use Google classroom to teach students how to organize their digital lives. In addition, Chromebooks would be used to learn critical thinking skills that are relevant in the 21st century. Specifically, students will use Chromebooks to research past historical events and find parallels and real world connections in today's society. Having students actively engaged in the curriculum and using 21st century skills will make them more prepared for the world we live in today.
