My Students

My students are 31 of the most adorable, inquisitive, thoughtful bunch of newly minted 4th graders. They are creative and busy and love hands-on projects. They make me a better person every day just by being around them. I am the luckiest teacher around!

My Project

This year we implemented a new program into our school. This program is called iReady and gives the students access to games, lessons, and practice problems.

Because of COVID and online learning, students are used to doing things online and have grown accustomed to learning using a computer.

In our 21st Century school, we have 16 Chromebooks in our classroom. This is SO AWESOME, but my current class has 31 students. Because we don't have enough Chromebooks, we are unable to do many fun and engaging activities to increase learning. We even have to take turns doing the less fun things, like tests! Adding an extra 2 Chromebooks to my classroom will bring us closer to our goal of having a complete class set!
