My Project

My PreK students will use these Chromebooks daily within our Technology Center. Students will use our technology center to learn how to navigate their district webpage and access learning sites. These learning sites help my students learn skills anywhere from how to type their name, practice various math skills, reading skills, and digital learning skills.

I want to set my students up to be successful digital literacy learners at a young age.

Having Chromebooks for my technology center will give my prek students an opportunity to practice technology skills in a monitored and safe environment.

Together we can give them the opportunity to learn how to seek and analyze information safely online, use critical thinking skills and collaboration skills, and practice online safety and responsibility skills.

Having Chromebooks in my technology center will offer an interactive experience for not only my general education prek students but any special education student who joins my classroom for inclusion times.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
