My Students

Our classroom is a place where we learn and grow together each day. We have 24 amazing students this year who are ready to do more. Feelings of community and cooperation are strong in our class as we work in collaborative groups to problem solve social and academic issues together. Great benefits would come by adding new technology to our classroom! Our technology is becoming outdated and we are not able to accomplish all we want to do!

I am constantly amazed at the energy and tenacity to learn I find in my second graders.

My students love school and I want to keep that excitement alive! We have some students who excel, while others struggle to read. The touchscreen Chromebooks would help all levels of readers.

My Project

This year's 2nd graders have never had a normal school year unaffected by the COVID-19 pandemic. They are affected by shutdowns, teacher illness absences, and absences due to their own or family illnesses. This creates learning gaps that need to be addressed. Three new touchscreen Chromebooks with management licenses will help us reach our goals.

These Chromebooks will help create amazing opportunities for individualized learning.

Our scholars will be able to focus on what they need most which will help them meet their learning goals, build confidence, and empower them as learners. These Chromebooks will help us utilize many programs that our district has purchased to help our students.
