Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In order to educate the whole child, each student much experience cultures different from their own.

As one of only two Asian teachers at my school, I feel like it is my responsibility to show my students Chinese culture through my lens.

The requested materials, Origami paper, construction paper, stage tape and Sharpies, will help the school bring Chinese New Year to life by having students create lanterns that will be decorated and hung throughout the school. The requested supplies also include some treats for the students to enjoy. Please help me give this authentic experience to my students.
