This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Recently our school's Emotional Support classroom teacher resigned and the kids are struggling through this transition. I wanted to give them something that they could chill out on when they become to overwhelmed. The Chill Sac Bean Bag chairs have been a huge hit in my classroom. When our special education students need a break or are having an off day they know they can ask to sit in the bean bag chairs as long as they remain engaged in the lesson. By giving the bean bag chairs to the Emotional Support Classrooms to use it will help alleviate some of their tension.
