This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom is facing a pressing need – our refrigerator, an essential tool for our diverse learning environment, has recently stopped functioning. As a Title I school, we encounter limitations in resources, and the breakdown of our fridge has affected our ability to provide proper storage for snacks, beverages, and perishable items necessary for our students' nutrition and educational activities.

In our vibrant classroom, where bilingual education is emphasized, the fridge plays a pivotal role.

It not only facilitates the storage of snacks but also manages fruits provided by our school and occasional leftovers. These resources contribute significantly to supporting our students' nutritional requirements while enhancing their learning experiences.

A new refrigerator would be a game-changer for us, enabling us to maintain an optimal learning environment. With adequate storage space, we can ensure that our students have ready access to healthy snacks, promoting their physical well-being and cognitive development.
