My Project

Chicken Coop for pre k!

Please help support our pre k in getting a brooder box, chicken feeder and water stand, chicken coop, heat lamp, and portable chicken coop.

Not only is it a wonderful hands-on life science lesson, but hatching chicks teaches concepts across the curriculum. We have hatched chicks in the past through Quiver Farms and students come back years later and remember the experience. Thanks to DonorsChoose we received an egg incubator. This will be the first year we use it. However, once the chicks hatch, we need a place for them to live (brooder box and chicken coop). Please help us! With support, we will have everything we need for our baby chicks or ducks.
