My Students

How many classrooms have one observed being dark, drab, stale and boring? This is far from our class, and these materials will help continue to build our classroom into a classroom kids love to be in!

Our school is in the newer part of town.

All of the parents are extremely supportive and are always willing to help out in the classroom or even willing to take materials home to help out the classroom in any way possible. We are a very diverse school which creates an amazing learning environment.

My Project

We are asking for a wide variety of materials to help benefit our students this year. The technology we are hoping to receive are iPad's which will be used for math activities and lessons as well as reading material. Students will use the iPads on a daily basis, not only with the math and reading activities but also using them for logic and puzzle games during the day. The Lego building sets are great for our "Free Explore" time which I believe ALL students should be entitled to since they are still students. But these activities will give them the opportunity to work together to build historical monuments which we can then study. Not only do students love to work with Legos but this will give them a great opportunity to not only build but also learn historical facts. The Vitamix Blender will replace our old "non-working" Ninja blender which we use to fulfill our students breakfast needs. Many students lack the nutritional support in the morning, therefore this will fulfill that need!

This project is important to our students because technology is a huge part of our daily lives and by allowing our students to learn with technology we are teaching them that technology is our o their "friend." All of the items we are asking for are materials that we believe Chevron would support.

These materials are teaching our student a wide variety of skills they will need in the future.
