Help me give my students the materials they need for regular maintenance of their instruments. Cleaning materials, lubricants, rosin and straps make our instruments last longer and help our young musicians feel more confident when playing!
The instrumental music students at our school make up a third of our campus. These young people make a fantastic community of students with very diverse backgrounds. They are continuously working as a team to create music together!
The passion these young musicians bring in learning to play their instruments continues to impress and inspire me and our community.
My challenge is to find creative ways to support students from a variety of backgrounds and experiences so that they all can achieve musical success within our ever-changing world.
My Project
All instruments need regular maintenance to sound and function at their best. These high quality materials will allow our students to keep their instruments in optimal condition, making our young musicians feel more confident in their performance.
These items, including straps (horn and cello), rosin (violin, viola, cello, bass), swabs & brushes (brass and woodwinds) will give our students access to vital supplies that will allow them to be successful.
Keeping instruments in good playing condition supports all current and future students. Maintaining our limited supply of school-owned instruments can extend their lifespan and over time, gives more students access to music!
