Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Have you ever been in the back of the classroom or in a meeting and you could not see over the person sitting in front of you? That is what some of my children are faced with in our classroom.
My students are in kindergarten and are part of a charter school in that focuses on choral music.
Currently the school is growing year by year. We are a kindergarten through fourth-grade school that will eventually reach the eighth-grade. We have a very diverse population in our school.
My Project
When students are either sitting on the floor or at their tables for a lesson, my goal is to make sure that they all have a perfect line of sight to my chart or dry erase board. One way to ensure that, is to make sure that the boards are up high enough for all to see. One piece of furniture that would be a great fit for my classroom is an easel. I am requesting one Best Right Wheasel Wheeled Dry Erase and Flip Chart Easel with Storage Tray and 4 Tubs. The height alone will help lift my boards and charts to a level that will be easily viewed by all of my students no matter where they are sitting in the classroom.
With the help of the easel, I will be sure that all of my students will be able to view all aspects of our daily lessons, without having to worry about someone's view being blocked.
It will be the perfect addition to my classroom to be used for every lesson.
