Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Period hygeine products are expensive, and for many students, unaffordable. Having these products easily accessible, my students will be able to access these necessary products when they need them, without feeling embarrassed or nervous.By offering these products to students, we are taking steps toward building confidence and promoting good hygiene.

When female students have free, convenient access to menstrual pads, they are less likely to miss instructional time.

My 7th grade students are some amazing individuals who deserve to have their basic needs met when it comes to feminine hygiene. Let's face it, getting your period at school unexpectedly is something that gives many female students anxiety. Having a period locker has the potential to give these young women the confidence to come to school without fear of not having access to basic hygiene products needed.
