Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

" I don't fear change coming, so I sing along.-Amanda Gorman". In celebration of the great things we have accomplished and the future of our bright scholars, we are creating an interactive experience for our Wolfpack. By combining literature and visual arts, we will create a mural created by our students reflecting the theme of "Change Sings" using our painting supplies provided by your support.

The students of Andrew Wilson Charter School are joining together as a community to read "Change Sings" by Amanda Gorman for our class read aloud, celebrate it as our anthem of change for Black History month, which will culminate into a multicultural mural celebrating our unique song.

In addition, we will add books of affirmation, creating new experiences and overcoming barriers.

We, the Wolfpack or unafraid and will share with our community the "Black History" is ours and our future endless.
