That way, when we get to a new chapter, I already have the original materials ready to copy instead of searching through stacks of papers trying to find what I need.\r\n\r\nThe laminating pouches and binder rings have been just as helpful. I laminate things like activity pieces, map inserts, and other resources that students keep in their Social Studies binders so they can last throughout the year. The binder rings are used to keep their flash cards and reference cards together, including cards that help them remember CER writing and how to work through different sources.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the year, my students will keep adding maps, study tools, and reference materials to their binders while we move through each unit. Having these supplies has helped me create a better system for keeping everything ready and organized for them.
