My Project

My students explore their place in the world in both personal space and physical space. This project will help to extend the physical space aspect of our studies. We take a look at the components of our bedrock, with the microscope, to learn where we are in the rock record of geologic time.

We look at rocks, minerals and fossils to learn about their composition and what it means about their formation.

Using these microscopes is a key to help us in this understanding. These tools will allow us to see identifying features up close.
