Chair Pockets To Help Organize 1st Graders
My students need 30 chairback buddies at the beginning of the 2013-2014 school year, so we can get organized on the 1st day of school!
Do you remember when you were in school and you had a messy desk? Well, times have not changed. My students, too, have messy desks. The chairback buddies will help my students organize their desks and be ready to learn.
I am a first grade teacher in Northwest Indiana.
As of right now, my projected class for the 2013-2014 school year will consist of 31 students. All of the students in my class will be eager to learn and want to please me! My school is in an urban setting, with a very high free and reduced price lunch status. Unfortunately, a lot of my students have to experience more than they should have to. Many come from single parent homes, have a parent in jail or even prison, see domestic violence at home and come to school hungry. I enjoy teaching my students and taking them as far academically and socially as they can by the end of each school year.
With the purchase of the 30 chair back buddies, my students will be organized and ready to learn in a timely fashion! My students will be able to keep their highlighters and Expo markers in the pockets on the back of their chairs. By having materials quickly at hand, we will be able to start each task quickly. They will also be able to keep their Homework Binder in the pocket on the back of their chairs. Now, my students will be able to quickly add any homework needed, and then move on to the next task. The chair back buddies will help my students in a much-needed way!
I would like to start by saying thank you for considering my project!
All I want my students to do is work hard, do their best, and have a positive attitude. With the purchase of this item, my students to be organized and quickly ready to learn. I'm very excited to receive such a generous gift for my students! Again, I want to thank you!
