Celebrate Black History Month!

Help me give my students a rich Black History Month curriculum through read-alouds, educational posters, and necessary supplies.

My Project

By providing educational posters, literature, and activity books, our class will be able to enrich our curriculum to learn about and celebrate Black History. We will build on our year-long discussions of students' cultures and prominent Black historical figures, such as Mae Jemison and Martin Luther King Jr. to further students' understandings.

My students are the most incredible young minds in the world and deserve to see themselves represented and celebrated all year, especially during Black History Month.

These donations would allow us to have the necessary books, posters, stickers, and other materials to create projects about historical Black figures, integrating literacy, art, and social studies.
