This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is a care closet that is designed to give my low-income students the clothes and toiletries they need in order to survive. Some of these students are living on a different person's couch every day and some are living in their cars. Some don't have a home and are sleeping in the streets or wherever they can find someplace to go.

The care closet for homeless students will provide students without home access to shaving cream, shampoo and conditioner, toothbrushes and toothpaste, winter clothes and summer clothes, bookbags and school supplies, etc.

Most of these students do not have the basic necessities. We need basic necessities such as shaving cream, hangers to hang up the clothes in the closet, and warm joggers for these students. Thank you for your consideration and help.
