Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goals for this project are to nurture a genuine love of reading in my students, create a warm and welcoming classroom where they feel safe to explore and grow, and to capture those special moments that make their learning journey unique. Through visual documentation and fun, interactive activities, I want to make sure each student feels seen, appreciated, and excited to participate. My hope is that these efforts will help build a strong classroom community where everyone feels inspired and motivated to discover their passions.

What makes my students truly special to me is their curiosity, creativity, kindness, and the wonderful talents they bring every day.

These qualities light up our classroom and make learning a joyful experience. The items I’ve chosen—books, fun erasers, and film documentation—are tools to help them enjoy reading even more, boost their confidence, and take pride in their achievements. More than anything, I want to create lasting memories that remind them of how much they are loved, capable, and capable of amazing things, fostering a lifelong love of learning and self-expression.
