My Students
My students are a very active group of first and second graders. With a blend of two grade levels the dynamic of our class there is a wide spread of learners with different abilities and needs. My students are very social, and enjoy working together.
Our classroom is a place where all learners are welcome, and we have a built a sense of community together this year.
This group of students has been working hard to be in charge of their learning, and making responsible choices.
My Project
My goal is to give more students the opportunity to use Kore Wobble Stools in the classroom. These stools will allow them a chance to get their wiggles out while learning. Having another choice of seating in the classroom gives my students more of a sense of responsibility, builds a sense of community, and more movement for kinesthetic and sensory learning.
Flexible seating allows my students a healthy avenue to move about while they learn, without distracting others.
I am hoping my students will be able to focus more on their learning while being able to move in the classroom.
