My classroom is filled with kind, goofy, loving, and eager to learn students. We are in a school with >50% free and reduced lunch. My students are very willing to try their best, and want to succeed. My goal as their teacher is to create a safe, inviting, and friendly workspace for them. We have a flexible seating in the classroom gives my students the ability to choose a place in the classroom where they feel they'll be most successful. Though it may seem like a small decision, allowing my students to be in control of their learning space will be empowering to them! My students are be encouraged to take turns and share, and to engage in group or partner work with others in like areas of the classroom.
