This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a total of about 50 students this year. Headphones in my classroom will be a game changer! Throughout our lessons we have some students who require headphones for accommodations like text to speech and we also have students who just work better with a little music while they work. I want to provide students the opportunity to have a productive learning environment even if that means a little music while they work. I know as a teacher throughout college I listened to music to calm me down, to get me through a study session, or to focus. I want to be able to have enough headphones to go around to give my students the same experience.
