I am a teacher in a rural STEAM school who is instructing eager 1st graders how to read, write, and solve math equations. I lack the materials I need to successfully provide my students with an excellent education.
My students are 21 energetic first graders who attend a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) Magnet Title I elementary school in South Carolina.
In order to prepare our students for the rigorous standards in education, it is integral that they have the right materials to assist in their learning. Creating a fun and interactive learning environment helps to keep my students engaged and energized to learn. I try to make learning interesting by having a variety of learning materials available to them. Having high-interest materials helps students stay engaged and allows for a deeper level of understanding.
My students are in need of quality headphones to use with their computers at school and at home. With the pandemic forcing quarantines and e-learning, the increased use of technology in the classroom, and computerized testing: my students need quality headphones to ensure they are able to clearly hear the lessons and instructions given.
These headphones will allow them to be able to focus on their specific skills and assignments on their laptops with limited distractions.
Students will use these headphones to complete complete lessons and activities at home and at school.
