My students are 23 energetic first graders who attend a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Magnet Title I elementary school in South Carolina. In order to prepare our students for the rigorous standards in education, it is integral that they have the right materials to assist in their learning. Creating a fun and interactive learning environment helps to keep my students engaged and energized to learn. I try to make learning interesting by having a variety of learning materials available to them. Having hands-on materials helps students of all learning styles stay engaged and allows for a deeper level of understanding.
