My Students

In our world and classroom, we are a tight-knit group of students. We work hard every day to learn and express who we are. We are made up of special education and general education students. We come from places all around the world.

We are engaged learners who want to learn more.

We are Hispanic, White, and Asian. We speak multiple languages and need multiple things to help us get through our day.

We speak the language of acceptance and love, and that is what holds us together. We work hard from the moment we get to school to the moment we leave. It is our goal that we leave every day with brains, bodies, and voices tired from thinking, moving, and speaking about what we are learning.

My Project

My students, It's hard to hear each other in a classroom, add on masks and excitement and it is even harder. The microphone we need is easy to pass and is more kid-friendly in its design. It will allow us to quickly pass, roll, or hand it to each other without the fear of it getting broken and we will be able to hear each other. The STEM supplies will help us build and show our thinking in a new and different way.

Covid-19 has my classroom still in masks and it is hard to hear the thinking of my amazing students.

This project will help my students recover some of the joy of learning that the pandemic has stolen from us. Everyone who enters our classroom will be able to see and hear our thinking. These supplies will help us show each other what we are thinking about as well as be able to hear about it. All parts of this project will help us become more rounded students.
