This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom library is my student's favorite center; They bring the books to the carpet for me to read to the class. My students are ready to develop their mathematics, social study, social-emotional, art, literacy, and physical skills in the classroom. Young children are creative and curious; at this stage, reading/books should be the number one tool in a school.

Materials donated to my classroom will be used to create books for each student, where they will be the main character in their own stories; these books will be part of our library center.

Books will be another way to share their child's experiences in the classroom with parents. These books will continue enhancing the print-rich classroom I strive to create.
