Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me to create a calming space in the school library. As the library is already a special space for students I would love to create a relaxing meditative area so that students can learn how to self-regulate emotions and learn valuable life skills.

Sometimes life can be overwhelming, even for young students, so a calming space to chill out is much needed and would be very much appreciated.

By having an area just for them, with a focus on calm and relaxation, the library would become an even more beneficial area for students to learn as well as decompress.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
