Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are eager to come to school and learn. They are learning about emotions and being a good friend. The beanbag chair, tent, and other materials will help my student receive a calming area that allows a safe and personal space to calm down when needed.

This beautiful corner calming space will provide students opportunities to calm down in a positive way and learn to control their strong emotions when it arises inside the classroom.

Today, more than ever, students are learning essential social skills to be successful in life and this calming space will be a stepping stone to achieving this goal.
