Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

From time to time students need a space in their classroom where they can gather themselves and destress. Every elementary teacher in our school has a peace corner where we send our students to help them to relax and give them a break if they are feeling overwhelmed. This is my first year at this current school site and I do not have a calm cube for my students. My experience from my last site showed me that these calm cubes really benefit the students when they need a moment to collect themselves.

If you are willing please donate to this project to aid in my students' social emotional welfare.

The calm cube that I am asking for will be used for many, many years, so that generations of Oakland students will benefit. Thanks in advance for your generosity.
