A brand new carpet would be fantastic for my students to all have their own personal space during whole group instruction. Every day they come to the rug to review their letter sounds, number chart, and calendar skills, but the carpet I inherited has no organizing design, so students often lose track of which spot they should return to. In addition, my first week of teaching the classroom was flooded, and the carpet received water damage. I'm asking for this carpet in the hopes that when we return from distant teaching, the students will have a brand new colorful carpet to enjoy.
