My Project

Math is more than numbers - it’s problem-solving, critical thinking, and building confidence. In our classroom, students are working hard to master increasingly complex concepts that require not only understanding, but also the right tools. Calculators are essential for helping students focus on higher-level thinking rather than getting stuck on basic computation, especially as they prepare for state testing.

For many of my students, access to reliable calculators can make a significant difference in both their performance and their confidence.

During state assessments, students are expected to solve multi-step problems efficiently and accurately. Without consistent access to calculators, they may struggle to keep up, which can lead to frustration and prevent them from demonstrating what they truly know. Providing calculators ensures all students have an equal opportunity to succeed.

With your support, my students will be better equipped to engage in meaningful mathematical learning every day. These tools will not only support their performance on important assessments but also empower them to approach math with confidence and independence.
