Calculators and Pens for Economics and Personal Finance Education!

My Project

Our students are highly motivated scholars who are taking college-level economics classes. The College Board recently made calculators a new essential in the AP economics classroom.

This project aims to provide four-function calculators in the classroom to help students pass the AP exam with flying colors so as to send a strong signal of their academic preparedness for college.

The class set of four-function calculators housed in the phone caddy will ease students’ mental stress when working on an economics problem. They can then focus on the logical reasoning of thinking through and analyzing the problem rather than stressing out on calculations.

The multicolor pens are for students to draw and label various curves on economic graphs. And they will use the Sharpies to demonstrate their work on chart paper. Finally, the utility cart will be the home to all supplies so students know where to find them when needed. Thank you so much for your support in economics and financial literacy education!
