This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Stop the talking and let me create and investigate already! Do you remember a time when using manipulative's, activities and games helped you learn math concepts? My students need hands on activities to make abstract concepts more concrete.
Special needs students need different ways to learn.
We need to get hands on games and activities in our classroom to help our children achieve. Please help me educate children with different techniques to overcome their disabilities and achieve success.
I teach at a school that has predominately high risk, high poverty children. I teach 3rd-5th grade students that have special needs and disabilities which make learning a little more challenging. I want my students to have the opportunity to learn math concepts on higher levels and be exposed to a variety of techniques and tricks that help them learn the core skills needed.
My Project
Everyday, we practice math and it is very difficult concept to grasp for students with disabilities. With the center games and materials I will be able use interactive, hands on games, that will help build math skills. This will give them more exposure to math concepts and extra practice exchanging with building math skills.
My kids are the coolest kids around!
They deserve the best in every aspect of life, especially in their education. Help me to help them achieve their best by partnering with me. You will help this class and many students to come. Thanks in advance for your generous support!
