Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having a computer station in the classroom would help students as they collaborate on science research. Computers enable access to interactive learning platforms, simulations, and educational software that make complex science concepts more accessible and engaging.

Having a classroom computer will provide students with a wide range of resources, including videos, online articles, that they explore catering to different learning styles and preferences.

The outcome of gaining a computer in the classroom will allow students to collaborate on STEM projects by allowing them to use shared documents and online collaboration tools, as well as developing teamwork and communication skills. In addition, they can hook up a thermal printer to create quick notes and stick in their science journals.

Our students come from a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, bringing a rich diversity of perspectives and experiences to the classroom. Many of our students face challenges such as limited access to technology at home, making school their primary opportunity to engage with digital tools. benefits and excitement of bringing computers into the classroom, emphasizing both the educational impact and the transformative nature of technology in STEM learning.
