Photography encourages students to observe details, think critically about composition, and express themselves visually. Whether they are documenting school events, creating art projects, or recording science experiments, using the camera helps students engage with their subjects more deeply. It also promotes curiosity and storytelling, giving them a hands-on way to communicate ideas and emotions that go beyond written or spoken words.\r\n\r\nIn addition, having a camera supports the development of valuable technical and digital skills. Students have learned how to adjust lighting, focus, and angles, and they have gained experience with editing and presenting—skills that are increasingly important in modern education and future careers. It has also helped build confidence and opportunities for collaboration as students share their work with classmates and participate in group projects. Overall, having the camera empowers students to be creators rather than just observers, transforming ordinary moments into opportunities for learning and self-expression.","fullyFundedDate":1747080925586,"projectUrl":"project/our-yearbook/9257734/","projectTitle":"Our Yearbook","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Casas","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9830658_orig.png?crop=542,542,x0,y187&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1731088176703","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/tmsyearbook"},{"teacherId":9551875,"projectId":8892786,"letterContent":"I am extremely THANKFUL for your support, assistance, and time you have taken to bring a smile to my youngster's face. This aquarium has made a great impact in my student's lives as it brightens the science room. We have started talking about speed and they came up with the idea that instead of using cars for demonstration and understanding we could use the turtle by: timing the time it takes to walk from one side go the aquarium and back to its cave. The Kleenex and air fresheners have really come in handy as it never fails that someone needs a tissue and now I have plenty of boxes to put out as needed without having to give them rough napkins or simple have them grab toilet paper as needed for their runny noises. The air fresheners were the finishing touch to the room, as they are always complementing how nice the classroom smells. Needless to say that with a turtle tank being part of their everyday surrounding, it is important it also smells fresh and clean. Your donations have really made my classroom have a homie sense with a nice environment where my youngsters want to be and gets their creativity growing as they are surrounded with a clean and fun place making each day happy place to be in.","fullyFundedDate":1734643000369,"projectUrl":"project/scientific-minds-as-we-experience-hands/8699599/","projectTitle":"Scientific Minds as We Experience Hands on Learning With Animals","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Cortez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9551875_orig.jpg?crop=624,624,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1724525143258","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9551875"},{"teacherId":8517147,"projectId":8938526,"letterContent":"Thank you TEXAS GAS SERVICE, so much for your donation.
