Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school has a high-poverty student population, but the community is what makes our school! We have wonderful families who send their children to school every day ready to learn. All of my students are English language learners so English is their second language, and they are still expected to perform at the national average on their tests.

Our ELLs come to school every day motivated to learn even though they don't understand English.

My students have to work extra hard in order to succeed in school due to the lack of understanding of English.

My Project

I recently submitted a project for some hats, gloves, and socks but unfortunately, it was not enough to guarantee every one of my students to get a pair. I have a total of 60 students and would like for all of my students to obtain these essential items. The winter weather in Oklahoma can be brutal and many of my students walk to school. They are in need of these warm items to keep them protected as they walk to school and home.

I need socks, gloves, and a warm hat!

Please help me give every one of my students a pair!
