My Project

“Help!… Mine!… I got it!” These are the confident words I love hearing from my athletes on the volleyball court. My hope is that my donors feel that same team spirit when it comes to supporting this project. As coaches, we work every day to build teamwork, confidence, and safety among our players.

Living in rural Alaska means our sports resources are limited to volleyball and basketball — and for many of my students, volleyball is everything.

My student-athletes are incredibly talented and show great potential both on and off the court. However, living in a low-income, high-poverty village like Nuiqsut presents daily challenges. Many students struggle to access even basic necessities.

To keep things simple, safe, and motivating, I’m requesting new volleyballs, knee pads, and resistance bands so my players can continue growing as confident, dedicated athletes. These items will help protect them, build their skills, and keep their love for the game alive.

By contributing to this project, you’re not just providing equipment—you’re uplifting a team filled with positivity, pride, and heart. You’re giving hope, excitement, and the chance for these athletes to keep doing what they love. Thank you for being part of our team spirit.
