My Project

We are requesting classroom tricycles that are safe, sturdy, and designed for young learners. These will be used during recess, structured movement breaks, and sensory activities.

My students are energetic, curious learners who thrive when given opportunities to move, explore, and engage with their environment.

Many of them benefit from structured physical activity to support their motor development, coordination, and social-emotional growth. However, our current classroom lacks enough equipment to meet these important needs.

This project will provide durable, age-appropriate tricycles that will allow my students to build strength, improve balance, and develop coordination in a fun and meaningful way. Riding tricycles not only supports physical development but also encourages turn-taking, cooperation, and confidence as students navigate shared play spaces.

For many of my students, especially those with diverse learning needs, hands-on movement is essential for regulation and focus. Access to tricycles will give them a healthy outlet for energy, helping them return to the classroom ready to learn.

Why This Matters:

Physical play is not just fun—it is critical to child development. Tricycles help strengthen large muscle groups, improve spatial awareness, and support independence. They also create opportunities for social interaction and inclusive play, where all students can participate at their own level.

With your support, my students will gain access to equipment that promotes both physical health and emotional well-being. These tricycles will be used daily and will make a lasting impact on my classroom for years to come.
