This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am asking for donations for my classroom to purchase STEAM materials.

These materials encourage students to use their creativity and engineering skills.

The first item on our list is a light table. These light tables are used for tracing and drawing, art, science, and math activities. The light tables would also be used as a calm down center activity. Light tables are a great way for students to experience and manipulate light. This supports the 'A' in STEAM which stands for Art.

The second item on our list are Pixel blocks. These blocks are magnetic and display different materials of real life. These blocks encourage students to use their creativity to build realistic and well thought out plans. Help my students bring their creative ideas to life! This supports the 'E' in STEAM which stands for Engineering.
