Building Our Classroom Community with a Meeting Area

Help me give my students a place to gather in a carpet meeting area.

My Project

The rug that I have requested for my classroom will provide my students and I with a meeting area. We will utilize our meeting area for morning meetings, read alouds, whole group discussions, small groups, whole group instruction and more. My goal for this rug is to utilize it daily in my classroom as a place to meet as a group and build connections within my classroom. My second grade students love to participate and this rug will help me to cultivate their learning through participation on this rug.
