My Project

Living in Upper Michigan, where winters can be long and cold, our students often experience indoor recess on extremely chilly days. My goal is to provide them with interactive, skill-building fun during these indoor recess sessions. The specific items requested—board games, LEGO sets, Magna-Tiles, and card games—have been carefully chosen to significantly enhance the students' learning experiences.

These engaging resources are more than just tools for entertaining my 5th-grade students; they foster critical skills such as problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork.

Board games encourage students to think strategically and make decisions, while LEGO sets and Magna-Tiles promote imaginative play.

The primary objective of this project is to create an environment where students can actively participate in hands-on, enriching activities. These resources aim to transform indoor recess into a time of learning, collaboration, and enjoyment.

"Building Minds with Fun Times" seeks to create a positive impact on my students' learning by offering them a break that is not just recreational but also educational.
