Building Literacy Skills Thru iPad

Help me give my students a laptop and iPads that would be used for intervention to increase literacy.

My Project

Electronic tools like the MacBook Air laptop and iPads minis are a great help for students to build and improve their literacy skills. MacBook Air is used to make Google classrooms, plan activities, prepare materials for reading and testing, tracking students' progress, programming live quizzes and make interactive games and other forms of assessments while students use the iPads in accessing, reading, learning, and interactive with the prepared and store materials from the teacher like short stories, passages, texts, poems and then understand, analyze and synthesize these materials as they gradually improve their skills in reading. It benefits both the teacher and the students in a way that it would be easier for them to interact live discussions and interactive activities using these MacBook and iPad minis. The goal for the students is to improve their reading skills as they build their literacy skills to be ready for the next grade level as assessed by the school, district and the state.

The things that I love about my students are their eagerness and interest in learning how to improve their reading skills and how to write effectively as they enjoy a variety of materials and interactive activities using these iPads as they enjoy learning and progress daily.

As a teacher, I plan, develop, gather and store resources in a laptop and the students' iPads to be used during interactive reading exercises and formative assessment games. Students build, learn and improve their literacy skills as they read and comprehend stored, interactive resources and materials in these iPads. These iPads will help students learn better than the usual printed paper materials.
