Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are excited to introduce our Girls Leadership Class, a program designed to empower young ladies by building confidence, character, and essential life skills. This class focuses on Leadership Development, Etiquette, and College & Career Readiness, helping students prepare for success both academically and personally.

A key goal of this program is to provide exposure beyond the classroom—teaching our students how to present themselves with confidence and professionalism in real-world settings.

Many of our students have limited access to professional attire, yet they aspire to become future leaders, professionals, and college graduates.

To support this goal, we have implemented Black Blazer Wednesday, where students wear black blazers each Wednesday to practice professionalism, confidence, and pride in their appearance. Wearing a blazer helps our girls step into a leadership mindset and see themselves as capable, confident young women with bright futures.

We are seeking support to provide 10 black blazers so that every student in our all-girls leadership class can fully participate, regardless of financial barriers. Your donation will directly impact our students by promoting equity, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging as we develop strong, confident leaders.
