My Project

Hands-on materials are extremely important to have in the classroom. These materials will arouse curiosity and make the students want to learn more. Hands-on materials foster the development of problem-solving and critical thinking skills. They will allow for the physical creation of tangible outcomes, improve social skills, increase motivation, and enjoyment in learning.

My vision for this business class is for students to learn how to create a thriving school business while learning how to work effectively with their peers, and learn necessary life skills.

My students have a love of learning! They are very ambitious and are always looking for ways to generate money for our clubs. This will be an ideal way for them to own their own learning while having fun. They will use the Cricut to design spirit t-shirts to sell to all of our competitive teams and clubs in lieu of outsourcing the jobs to outside printing companies. They will also use other Cricut materials to create gifts for visiting speakers. The students will generate orders and learn how to process them, collect money, maintain inventory, do quality control, and basic accounting skills. This experience will create a more well-rounded student and foster the love of learning.
